whether marriage was in terms of Hindu Marriage Act or any other?

Whether marriage was registered before the registrar of marriages?

In which state has he filed the petition?

Have you ever lived with him in USA?

You have to challenge the jurisdiction of the US court to entertain such petition.

Firstly, it has to ascertained whether US court has jurisdiction over the matter or not. Otherwise, case can only be entertained by INdian Court.
