agar husband khud nikah ko khatam kare tu ye divorce hay. Aur agar aurat court k zariay apna nikah khatam karwa le tu ye khula hay. agar wife ne khula ka case file kia hay aur Husband k na ane ki sorat main wife ki statement k baad khula ho jai gi aur aurat iddat guzarne k baad dosray admi se nikah kar sakti hay.

Husband can divorce and wife can take khula from court.. Seperation has no legal value in Islam..

In effect there is no difference. Only to the extent of few rights attached with Nikah could be affected.
