Legal Question in Family Law in India

The step mother in law of my daughter has troubled us a lot for last 18 months after engagement and 12 months after wedding demanding money, materials, luxuries in wedding and still troubling my daughter. My daughter is frustrated and wants to initiate some legal cases against her IN LAWS. Kindly advise

Your daughter may initiate legal action against them for an offence under section 498 A I.P. C or under the Domestic violence Act.
