Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Pakistan

My father was retired and getting pension from federal Govt. He served in Lahore all his life.

We are 4 siblings and 2 other step sister who never lived with us. My own mother and step mother had died long ago.

When my father died his family pension was transferred in my name as I was only unmarried daughter that time. One of my step sister was

also unmarried but my step sisters were not in out Form B as part of family becuase since their birth they lived with their nanhiyal.

I got married almost 1 year ago but could not inform Pesnion office or Bank about my marriage. I continued to get pension for 1 year later I

submitted application to stop the payment writing my marriage date (as actual).

My step sister has applied for pension and asking government to recover pension from me. Now I do not have that money as I spent it AND

it was not my mistake as I never submitted No Marriage Certificated to bank AFTER my marriage date.

Can Govt ask for recovery? And if I am unable to pay, can they arrest me? I am worried.
