Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I am a an asstt. prof at a deemed univ.(private). I am doing phd course work from the same univ and working there as well. They asked me to fill an undertaking and they have taken a blank cheque from me. During course work they have shown me as on leaves(paid leaves). But i was working and teaching there during this time. actually they had scheduled the classes so that both things can run smoothly. They have refused all my increments and medical leaves as well. now i want to leave that place. My original offer letter say i hav to serve 1 month notice. But they say i hav to serve 3 months notice coz m working as am an asstt. prof. Bond says i hav to give back all the salary drawn during this time of phd. what my point is they hav paid me for my work. i didnt actually get leave from them. it was only on papers. during this time they asked me to evaluate final answer booklets of students as well which is definitely illegal as how can somebody do that if he is on leave. now plz suggest me what to do?
