Whether the doctors & faculties (medical professionals) of a private medical college comes under the purview of Payment of Gratuity Act?

Dear Sir / Madam,
If the private medical college has subscribed to an approved Gratuity fund for the benefit of all its employees, it will come under the purview of the Payment of Gratuity Act.
