Legal Question in Employment Law in India

I am a Himakshi, I am a B.Tech fresh graduate. Recently I was hired by a private company as a permanent employee for the company in Dehli to work for one of their client. I worked for their client about 4months and after that they rolled off suddenly from the client company. When I contacted my hired company, It says your contract is over, you have been released from the company from the day you got rolled off. when I asked to proceed with the relieving process, they are asking me to pay two months salary to make the relieving process giving the reason that they did not get any invoice from their client from last 2months. and also they are with-holding one month salary.

So, how can I proceed further with the company legally. Please guide me.

Dear Himakshi,

The Company that employed you is liable to pay your salary dues for each and every day that you worked with them. Getting an invoice from the client is not your problem. Write a letter to your Company stating that you should be paid for all the days worked by you. If they fail to oblige, issue them a legal notice.
