Legal Question in Employment Law in India

the info in my class 10 and 12 is

NAME: ANU CHIKKARA

FATHER'S NAME: NARESH CHIKKARA

in my graduation marksheets and degree it is

NAME: ANU CHHIKARA

FATHER'S NAME: NARESH CHHIKARA

there is a minor spelling discrepancy of surname ( chikkara and chhikara )

I now use my surname spelling as per 10th. Whether this discrepancy would lead to my rejection in ssc cgl govt jobs. I have to report for doc verification soon. It would take approximately 6 months to get my surname spelling corrected in degree and mark sheets. I am reluctant to do this now bcz I have to submit my documents for verification in a month. Is there any way to deal with this problem?? will an affidavit work for time beingme ?? plz help me I am very tensed

Dear Anu,

You are rightly using the surname spelling as in your 10th Standard Certificate. I do not foresee any issues or problems that will arise therein whilst securing a job. However, it is advisable and recommended to get the discrepancy and error in the graduation mark sheet and degree certificate rectified by the concerned University that has granted it.
