Sir i m a showroom manger in a furniture firm one customer purchase a furniture worth 10lakh by cheque n his cheque was bounced.later on i recover he was a big criminal sumhow i recover sum furniture bt still 4.5lakh is pndng n one of my boss returned bouncef cheque to him. Now they stopp my sal to recover so i lev the job n mailed my resign as i m not bound in any cntract nw thy r not acceptng my resign n threatng me tht they will file a case against me .i have joined a new job so nw i dnt knw wht to do..

Dear Sir / Madam,

"A sale is complete only when the money is realized." Your boss has erred and is at fault for returning the bounced cheque back to the defaulting customer, because the Company should have lodged a criminal case u/s 138 against the defaulting customer in the Court for recovery of the balance 4.5 lakhs. If you receive a legal notice from the Company, you should reply back stating that your boss was responsible to take appropriate recover action against the customer.
