Legal Question in Employment Law in India

i am working in government firm since five years ..for fixed salary ..in advertisement they have given my pay scale of rs 9300-34800 grade pay 4400..but now when I have completed 5 years ..they say i will get 5200-20200 grade pay 2800 ..what to do please advise me

1) If it is T&C of ur employment, u will automatically get without asking along with others.

2) If not, represent to the HR Dept or higher authorities.
