Legal Question in Legal Malpractice in

I had given cheques of 25 lakhs to my father for transfer of the flat and later had requested the bank to stop payment the said cheques. Now my fateher has filed a complaint against me under section 138 after serving the mandatory notice can I be prosecuted for the same or will the complaint be dismissed. please kindly advice

in case the flat is not transferred in your name, there is no point paying the consideration. you may go for quashing of the complaint.
