Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I am going to buy additional flat in my name in registered society in addition to one which I already Owns in the same society. Does I require any permission from Registrar of Society under Maharashtra Co-operative Society's Act for purchasing more than one flat in the same registered society? My society does not have any byelaws as being too old. Does modern bye laws are applicable to this society? What is the procedure to make this applicable? How to safeguard in purchasing this additional flat in the same society in the same name? What are the relevant provisions or notifications for the same?
