Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Oman
Am I entitled for a refund if I have already paid 100% of the down payment of the house that I have purchased? What are the actions to make if they are claiming that I will not be getting any refund? Thank you and hope to hearing from you soon.

Dear Sir / Madam,
If the 100% down payment for purchase of the house was in the form of "token money" and you are backing out of the deal, your token money gets forfeited. It is purely at the discretion of the seller whether he refunds you the token money or not. If the payment is subsequent advances for purchase (other than token) you are entitled to full refund of the advance(s) made by you, if you back out from the deal.
