Chapter 13 Bankruptcy and Repossession
I filed for bankruptcy 1 week ago and my cars were repossessed tonight. Is this legal and what are my options?

You should contact your lawyer immediately. The filing of a bankruptcy case creates a stay which, in most cases, prevents repossession or continued collection activities. Whether the repossessions were unlawful depends on the facts of your individual case. Contact your lawyer for assistance.
