new automobile purchase

I purchased new car 3 weeks ago, dealer furnished info to my insurance co... I got a purchase agreement they said I would get rest of info by mail. Now dealer calling me telling me loan did not go thru wants me to bring car back get used one or try to get another finance comapany...Do I have to do this or is the fact that they furnished all info and gave me purchase agreement and took my down payment let me leave the lot with car (700)miles on car now and reported to insurance company am I legal owner and dealer screwed up or what are my rights?

It is very difficult to answer your question without seeing the contracts that you signed. Usually, the contract would be dependent upon your obtaining financing; however, they should not accept your payment and let you take it off the lot. Unfortunately, unless you come up with the balance on the vehicle's price, you have not paid for the vehicle, and they will probably reposess it and hold you responsible for any damages.
