If an inaccuracy in driving record has been disputed and proven incorrect through choicepoint but they don't change their information are you entitled to $$$$$? (If a suit was filed)

Yes. If you have disputed this through Choicepoint and they won't remove this inaccuaracy, then you can sue.

The main objective of suing is to correct the credit report (as this will normally help on insurance rates, etc) but you can also be awarded statutory or actual damages.

Feel free to contact me to discuss. You can also look at a recent lawsuit we filed against Choicepoint for an inacuarate driving history (accident). http://www.alabamaconsumer.com/CM/Custom/Duckworth%20v%20%20Choicepoint%20Inc%20and%20State%20Farm%20Mutual%20Automobile%20Insurance%20Company%20070308.pdf or go to the home page and it is there on the upper left hand box. http://www.alabamaconsumer.com/

Its called Duckworth v. Choicepoint.

Take care and best of luck.
