Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Alabama

I Live in alabama now and have a truck I am giving back oweing $22,000 on.The car company says they will sell it off and I will owe them.I have a co signer who has retirement andpension benefits only andI have disability benefits and work 25 hours a week at 7.60 an hour & we have a joint bank account that has only our checks disability and retirement checks (only) direct deposited.My question is can they garnish my wages since I only work those fewhours?can they freeze our bank account since its only for our government checks?Basically is there any way for them to get anythingfrom us since we own nothing,(no house to other car outright etc.)Also we willbe moving to Maine in the fall with the same situatio,will this affect any furture outcome? First, your account is not subject execution unless and until the creditor obtains ajudgment against you for any deficiency. As to the funds, while disability is exempt from garnishment if you co-mingle those funds in an account with nonexempt funds the funds can be garnished from the bank account.
