chilld relocation act

If my ex and i agree on the relocation and have a written and signed document would i have to go through the courts in alabama before i move? We would not be changing visitation or anything and he had a written notice of the move

Under the relocation all you have to do is follow the code requirements for notification. But if you are changing visitation any from the legal agreement, then for it to have legal weight, that must go through the courts. Only the court can change visitation, but with both of your consent, that should be no problem.
