Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

Minor or Not

My son is 18 years of age. He will finish High School in June of 2005. I was told that by federal law I was responsible for him until he reached the age of 21. If that is true, what are my responibilities.

Federal law doesn't apply here. In Alabama, a child is no longer a minor on his 19th birthday, assuming he is not mentally incompetent.
