My wife cuts hair , she recently resigned , sent in writting to her district boss . She has cut hair for over 25 yrs , wants to continue to cut hair . One of her customers called her yesterday and said when he called to make a appt with her , her district mgr . came on the phone and told him that she no longer worked their and she had been nothing but trouble , even said she had been fired . He has been a loyal customer for over 10 yrs . Who is to say that her other customers are told the same . The company she works for is Headstart , they have hundreds of locations in the south . They can do it, but you might be able to sue them for defamation. It would not be worth the trouble to sue them, but they sure need to be told that your wife demands their false and defamatory statements cease at once. The folks who own the company need to know about this too.
