transfer of real estate

My husband and I would like to transfer our home to our 19 year old daughter. We own the home. We are not selling the home to her it is a gift. We would like to transfer to her. We will continue to live here until retirement. We hope to retire and move one day. What is required?

Since you and your husband are intending to donate the property to your daughter, you and your husband must execute a deed of donation of the property in favor of your daughter so that title can be transferred to her name. You must pay donors' tax of course.
