Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Alabama

Estate left equally to 4 siblings. My husband, one of the siblings has since passed away, leaving is inheritance to me. Where do I stand in the "pecking" order? Remainin 3 siblings are undecided what is whos and who is going to do what with their 1/4 interest. Nothing but sale of assets rings fair to me. Is there a way to force distribution of estate by sale?

When you say, your husband has since passed away, I presume you mean he subsequently deceased the person who has the estate. Therefore, several more questions would need to be answered to come to a firm conclusion regarding these facts. Would be happy to discuss it with you. But since you don't think anything they are proposing is fair, I think you need representation, and it is always better sooner than later. Dean. (205) 991-5600.
