Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Alabama

How can a judgement from a creditor be entered against me if I have no knowledge of this company nor have I ever receved a summons? Also, how will this effect the sale of my deceased father's home if only the property tax is in my name?

A judgment recorded against you should not typically interfere with the sale of a property in the name of another person. If however, the property has been transfered to you by personal representatives deed or otherwise, it can wind up with judgements against the individuals whose names the property is in, attaching to the property and effecting its transfer. You should consult an attorney regarding more of the specifics of your matter.
