Probate and Estate
I am a member of a group of heirs for a intestate estate. Would an affidavit of heirship establish me legally as a heir?

Re: Probate and Estate It really depends on who is needing proof. Some financial firms might accept a simple Aff/Heirship and your local DMV might as well. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try first and if they refuse, then move on to formal probate of the estate.
