Re: Motion to Suppress

A Motion to Suppress usually means to suppress evidence of a crime which has been illegally or improperly seized. That means the Motion is directed at having the evidence excluded from a criminal proceedings.

Opposition to such a Motion obviously means taking a contrary position.

Both are very common in the criminal law.
