From Louisiana's perspective, they've done what they were supposed to. Your problem is that if there is a probation hold from Arizona, and you are picked up again or even stopped, you run the risk of being arrested on that probation hold again and having to wait Arizona's decision to extradite or not. Seek advice from an Arizona attorney to discuss your rights under Arizona law.

Arizona refuses to extradite. So for example you have three years probation.

A probation violation occurs in year two and Arizona

Having done extensive extradition work, additional facts are needed to answer your question. What are the charges for which the defendant is on probation, was supervision in LA part of interstate compact or is this an absconder situation, etc. Please contact me directly for add'l info.
