When you get multiple duis the penalties get steeper each time. How long until the old DUIs stop haunting you? Like if you get 3 duis you will get something like 3+ years in prison. I have 2 from about 8 years ago. Will they ever go away so I am not on my 2nd strike anymore for lack of better word.

It depends on whether you are talking about misdemeanor DUI's or felony (aggravated) DUI's. An aggravated DUI is considered a "forever prior". This means that they can always be used against you to increase the sentence you face. Misdemeanor DUI's are used against you to increase your sentence for seven years.
