Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

When filing for a divorce is it better to get legal assistance in the beginning or do it myself and if my spouse fights me then seek legal help?

Well you may or may not need a lawyer at any point in the process but you won't know unless you at least consult with someone. You might want to consult with an experienced lawyer to make sure you understand your rights and obligations. Then you can make a decision about how to proceed.

Of course it would be better to have experienced counsel, even from the beginning, even in an uncontested matter, if for no other reason, to make sure YOU are protected in every step.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options, whether on your own or with our assistance. We can also structure assistance to help you represent yourself if your prefer, whether by the project or by the hour.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gina or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation.
