Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Sole custody for Fathers

I am interested in having sole custody of my son who is 3yrs old. I have been the sole provider since ha has been born, paying most if not all bills. Wife will soon make as much if not more money than me. I feel I can provide a more stable environment for my son than she could. I currently have him in my position and is being well taken care of. Mother has not tried to contact me whatso ever.

What rights do I have ?

Re: Sole custody for Fathers

It certainly sounds like you should have no trouble getting the Orders that you desire. I can explain the procedures and issues better by phone or in person. There is too much to cover via e'mail (and I am not the greatest typist). We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss the matter in more detail.

Please call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my assistant Cathy to schedule a free 1/2 hour consultation. I look forward to talking with you.

Re: Sole custody for Fathers

You have just as much rights to the care, custody and control of your son as does the mother. The court will make a determination based on "the best interests of the child." Therefore, your arguments and/or position regarding sole custody should focus on showing the court that it would be in "the best interests" of your son that you be granted sole custody.

I would be happy to discuss the issues more in-depth with you by phone or in-person. Though I have provided you with the major points, there is too much to cover via e-mail. I offer a free, no-obligation hour consultation (telephonic or in-office) if you would like to discuss the matter in more detail. In addition, I would be happy to arrange a mutually suitable payment plan.

You can call me directly to discuss the specifics of your case, or contact my legal assistant, Brenda, (602) 255-0333, to schedule a free hour in-office consultation. I wish you the best and look forward to talking with you.
