Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Arizona

slander?

I hired someone to do some website work for me. I needed to get some images to her and told her I needed to wait til the end of Oct. I paid her half up front and signed a contract. I recently looked at her blog and she ripped me apart calling me names etc. I emailed her and told her to take the comments down. She won't. She also wont return the money I paid her as the job is not finished. She continues to write about me in her blog and it is very upsetting as she continues to call me names.

Re: slander?

Pending full disclosure of the facts, it appears you have a case for a Defamation lawsuit to the extent her assertions are untrue. Because this behavior is very damaging and difficult to stop, damages are presumed. We can write the "demand letter from hell" that has been successful in other (bigger) cases, but if that doesn't work may have to pursue litigation, including perhaps a request for a temporary restraining order and injuncton (expensive). We do these cases priced as follows: Demand letter $1500 with $1000 trust deposit for follow up to cofirm cease and desist by agreement. Unless lady is crazy I think letter should do it.
