Re: stolen tool on job site at residence

I presume this happened in Arizona, you message does not state that.

Unfortunately the homeowner's insurance has no coverage that would cover the truck or the tools in the truck. Only your own son's insurance would cover this. The theft was not the fault of the homeowner.

We all are sad when low-life criminals steal and rob. And often, those who can least afford a loss are the ones with the barest of insurance on their vehicles.

I hope your son is able to find some way to get another vehicle. Next time, perhaps a hidden kill switch, a steering wheel lock (like The Club) or an alarm will save his loss if he cannot afford comprehensive coverage on his truck.

I was impressed by your son's story. I am sure he will continue to find the place in society, with the economic and personal rewards he deserves. I too have faced adversity in life, and I respect those who press ahead.

God bless you and your son in your honest pursuits,

Best regards,

James D. Jenkins
