Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

At the grocery store I work at, I stopped a person who was robbing our store. During the incident he bit me on the arm, which has since healed but has left a visible scar. He has been charged with the robbery and assault and found guilty and is awaiting sentencing. Can I sue him for the damage he did to my arm?
