Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona
I was involved in an auto accident and was rear ended and ended up with bumper damage on my vehicle and some minor injuries. I have a small contusion on my head with headaches and neck soreness. I saw my doctor the day after and he said I have strained neck muscles and need to return in two weeks. I believe I should be able to recover some monies from the at fault driver even though I am unemployed due to my injuries and obviously the damage to my vehicle. Please advise me on how to recover what is, what I think, owed to me due to this accident. Thank you.

Thank you for the inquiry. You are probably entitled to recover some money. As you were not working at the time of the accident, it is unlikely you would be able to obtain any economic damages. You would probably be able to recover some pain and suffering damages, reimbursement for your medical bills, and money for the damage to your vehicle. There are several ways to go about trying to obtain money from an accident. Probably the best is hiring an attorney to send to the driver's automobile insurer a demand letter.
