Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

Locked in a Pod with Inmates twice in one day

Can I sue and win a lawsuit for personal injury, if while during the performance of my duties(to walk in pods housed by inmates and address their issues) assigned security staff to the building were unattentive and showed lack of regard for my safety by allowing the door to be closed and locked with me in a Pod with over 100 inmates twice in one day? I had to request that the door(s) be opened angrily each time and reported it to management.

I believe that my safety was compromised intentionally, although I may not be able to prove it. However, all three correctional officers were negligent in the performance of their duties( monitor movement, staff safety-an officer should either be escorting or keeping a visual on all staff having to walk thru an inmate pod, at all times).

Unless you sustained an economic injury, the answer is "no." A personal injury lawsuit requires (1) liability, and (2) economic loss.
