Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

personal property lost in accident

I was in a car accident and some of my personal property was lost/damaged. The car burned and was a total loss. At first the insurance company said they would pay for the lost items. Now they say they won't. Don't they have to pay for what I lost?

They must pay with proof of loss.

Your question does not state if "the insurance company" is yours or that of another party at fault. If yours, your collision coverage may not cover contents. If another party's, all provable damages can be claimed.
