person on motorcycle was hit by 80 yr old driving van. van driver turned left in front of motorcycle causing explosive crash and almost killing cyclist. van driver was cited at scene with ticket. cyclist lived but spent 3 mos in hospital had numerous surgeries(15) and suffered severe head trauma. future for cyclist is unknown at this point as far as quality of living and living independently. cyclist will have ongoing healthcare issues. physical disabilities affect left side hand & wrist, speech and right leg. medical bills exceed $600,000 what would be a reasonable settlement amount to expect?
