Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

Is there an Arizona Statute regarding a contract agreement signed by one party......an that party is given an address to send payments to and does so 4 times......5th payment is returned to sender, phone calls made to find out why and no return call.....................now 5 years later a law suit against person for breach of contract. Is there a statute or contract law statement that mentions: if the party accepting payments moves, changes ownership, etc. is responsible for giving the new address to payor?

There is basic contract law that would require the payee to give you notice of a change of address and require you to make reasonable efforts to find the payee's new address. Why the payee made no effort for 5 years to collect money owed is strange indeed. You must look at the contract provisions and the law regarding the statute of limitations on breach of contract, you may not owe the money.
