Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

lein on my property

How can I find out without paying a fortune if a home improvement lien was put on my home. Is there anywhere besides the public records that I could search to see if the title of my home is clear or not.

Any lien on your property would be recorded in the office of your county recorder. You can search these records at no cost. One thing to remember is that there may be a delay of several days or a couple of weeks before the recorded document shows up in the public records. If your county does not put these records online, you can search the records at the recorder's office.
