Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

I have a question about being told to vacate a rental property. We are being told to be out in 10 days for only failing to pay rent for 1 month. Isn't 30 days customary to have to move out?

If you fail to pay rent, it is 5 days by law. 5 days after rent is due, the landlord can file forcible detainer action in court. The landlord can have you in justice court within 5 more days, to evict you. Once the court orders you out, the landlord can have the Sheriff's deputy on your doorstep kicking you out by force. Any stuff you leave has to be kept safe by the landlord for 30 days and then it can be sold. Even if you stayed 30 days, you are going to owe the landlord rent for whatever time you haven't paid for. Figure out what whether you want to stay there or move on and then try to work something out with your landlord.

Good luck.
