quitclaim deeds

I have a property in Mesa, AZ that I am selling to a friend who lives in IN, I have residency in PA but am currently living in VA -- in which state should the quitclaim deed be gotten and filed?

The Deed must be recorded in Maricopa County, Arizona. It must conform to Arizona law. Be careful, drafting a deed can be dangerous. You would be better off hiring a lawyer to draft the deed and advise you.

I agree with Mr. Blum. You must record the deed in the state and county where it is located, and the deed must conform to AZ law. You would be wise to consult an attorney.
