Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona
When my mother passes.
My mother is very sick and she is currently remarried to my stepfather. I am her only child. When she passes on if there is not a will that states otherwise, will he receive everything in her estate? I don't believe there is anything but a house. He has grown kids of his own, and I live out of state.

The state law of intestate succession (without a Will)will determine who inherits her estate. In AZ, you and the stepfather would split the estate.
