should i apply for LLC before starting a business or start then apply for LLC

As a franchise attorney I can say it is probably best to start the LLC first. Otherwise you start as a sole proprietor then have to move the sole proprietorship into the LLC. This is more paperwork and detail. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
