Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

Guardianship

If guardianship papers where filed, where and who would have those papers? Would that be filed with the state, or by a lawyer? Where would these files be kept?

Re: Guardianship

The original guardianship file is kept at the probate court where the guardianship was filed. The guardianship may be filed by an individual or by an attorney on behalf of an individual. The actual guardian would receive Letters of Authority to enable him/her to exercise legal powers as guardian vis a vis third parties. If you have and further questions, please consult my attorney profile or my website: www.lawgreg.com.
