Legal Question in Employment Law in Arkansas

I have a question about a specific requirement of my job that I'm curious about the legality of. I work for a small cell phone store. At the end of the day, we are required to clock out upon leaving the store, and then on our own time off of the clock we are required to drive to the bank and make our nightly deposit. My question is, Is it legal for my employer to require me to drive to the bank to perform company business without paying me for my time?

As a general rule, if your employer is covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act, anything which you do for the employer and which the employer directs you counts as an hour worked. This means that you should get paid for the time.
