joint property ownership

My five siblings and I inherited equal shares of our mothers house and property. We have all agreed to let my brother have fist right to buy others out. If he doesn't commit I would like to buy out other for the same offer. the appraised value of the property. We are done with probate now and my brother is draging this out. is there any way to force his hand? I have been preapproved for a loan and interest rates are going up. He will not communacate with this any of us. Can I leagly make him give us a time line. What if he dosen't sign off for me to buy everyone out.

A co-owner may file an action to partition the property. In a partition action the court will order the property sold and the proceeds divided. You can bid on the property at the sale. If you are the highest bidder, then the property will be yours.
