Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Bahamas

adding creditor after bankruptcy discharge

I need to know the name of the law that pertains to adding a creditor that you forgot to place on your bankruptcy. I am trying to stop a judgement from a creditor that was a few years prior to my bankruptcy.

Re: adding creditor after bankruptcy discharge

It isn't really a law per se. There was a court decision in the Northern District of Illinois a few years back that decided basically in most cases a discharge applies even to those creditors who were not listed on the petition.

If you need help dealing with this creditor, please contact my office to see if we can help.

Very truly yours,
