Legal Question in Family Law in California

Hi, I live in California and have 50/50 joint and legal custody with my son, I also have a restraining order against the mother. My son currently has Medi-cal which was set up by the mother, she is refusing to add my name to my sons Medi-cal account or send me a copy of his card. Is filing a request for order the way to go about my situation?

I agree that you should file a motion, but would suggest that you request a court order that she add your name to the medical account. That if she fails to do so within 5 days that the court clerk can sign for her. Also amend the custody order to give you sole power to make medical and school decisions for the child. I would ask for a reduction in her time share only if her contact with the child is detrimental.
