Legal Question in Disability Law in California

Driving Test

My daughter's drivers test was

changed to a different town. She's

not driven there. We want it in a

familiar setting so she's comfortable.

DMV changed the site to El Centro,

even though there's a site in

Brawley.

Re: Driving Test

I think you would be laughed out of court with such an argument. California drivers are expected to be able to drive competently in any locality and, as far as I know, the traffic conditions in El Centro are not sufficiently different from those in Brawley to equate DMV's decision to relocate the road test with "disability discrimination."
