Legal Question in Disability Law in California

I received a littering citation for throwing a can in bushes. This is my first time offense for anything so my question what can I do? I do not want to pay any sort of fine because I simply can't. Do I speak to a judge and hope for a dismissal? Thanks.

You can 'hope' all you like, but unless you can convince the court at your trial that you are not guilty, you are going to pay a price, either in jail, fines, or possibly doing 'community service' hours picking up trash somewhere in an orange jump suit.
