Legal Question in Disability Law in California

Termination due to being injured at work.Partial disabilty.

I was injured while preventing an assaultive inmate , from

continueing to hit another inmate, and who started toward

a female staff. Now, that i am partially diable, i have been terminated. What are my rights and how do i persue

a situation like this???

That depends on why they said you were terminated and why you actually were terminated. However, if you were injured on the job you should at least receive workers' compensation. See an attorney who handles that kind of case.

YOu have a workers comp case, with a possible retaliatory termination claim in workers comp. As a guard, I assume you have a union to grieve through about the firing.
